On Friday, May 6, an overjoyed collector pulled a LeBron James Triple Logoman Basketball Card from a 2020-2021 Panini Flawless Box during a Whatnot (live shopping app for collectibles and hobbies) live stream. Said to be the most sought-after sports card in the world, the singular card is valued at over $3 million.
This find also aligned with Whatnot’s announcement earlier in the week. The platform raised the stakes in the hunt for the Triple Logoman by issuing a bounty on the ultra-rare card, offering a 2021 Lamborghini Huracán to anyone who uncovered it… and subsequently selling it via the live stream app.
“We’re thrilled for the entire sports card hobby, especially the Whatnot community, that the chase for the Lebron Triple Logoman concluded on our platform,” Eric Shemtov, head of sports at Whatnot said. “This is what the hobby is all about — finding rare cards that galvanize this passionate community. We’re proud to create an environment where these moments can happen.”
Shemtov isn’t kidding about the passionate part. Hypebeast reported that Drake spent over $200,000 searching for the esteemed collectible. As part of Panini’s 2020-2021 Flawless NBA basketball card collection, each unopened package comes in a premium secure latched box that only contains 10 cards. The price for one of these secure, metal bins starts at $15,000 from Panini and goes up from there. Of course, paying $1,500 per card might be worth it, especially for the chance to multiply that by a few thousand times to become an instant millionaire — if the finder chooses to sell the piece.
The Triple Logoman was one of five in the Flawless set, which comprised only a small part of a sprawling Flawless collection. The Lebron James edition was unique not only because it was the only card to feature one instead of three players, there is only one James Triple Logoman in the world.
Drake’s quixotic quest for the Triple Logoman led him to purchase an incredible 14 boxes from LA Fav cards, which, bought new, would cost a cool $210,000. The pop star, unfortunately, struck out, but on March 16, a Layton Sports Cards breaker pulled the Giannis Antetokounmpo/Kevin Durant/Stephen Curry Triple Logoman card, taking one of the five super-rare variations out of circulation.
Each one of these Triple Logoman inserts is a singular edition and while the value of each isn’t readily available, a 2019 Zion Williamson Logoman found last year in China was appraised for over $500,000.

“Transparent” actress Trace Lysette has accused Jeffrey Tambor of sexual harassment. Lysette is the second woman to go public with allegations against Tambor, following the actor’s former assistant Van Barnes on November 8. Lysette, who has recurred on the series as Shea since Season 1, posted a statement on Twitter in which she revealed Tambor harassed her on set during the making of Season 2 of Amazon’s Emmy-winning comedy.
According to Lysette, Tambor made “sexual advances and comments” towards her and “one time it got physical.” The actress said Tambor sexualized her in front of co-star Alexandra Billings during a break on set in between takes. Lysette laughed the comments off because “it was so absurd” and she thought “surely it had to be a joke.” But the harassment turned physical later that day.
“In between takes, I stood in a corner on the set as the crew reset for a wide shot. My back was against the wall in a corner as Jeffrey approached me. He came in close, put his bare feet on top of mine so I could not move, leaned his body against me, and began quick, discreet thrusts back and forth against my body,” Lysette writes. “I felt his penis on my hip through his thin pajamas and I pushed him off of me.”

Amazon launched an investigation into the sexual harassment claims made by Barnes earlier this month, and the company said it is aware of Lysette’s accusation and is now looking into it as well. News broke earlier this week that the “Transparent” writers room is contemplating letting Tambor go and continuing the series without its main character.
In the wake of Lysette’s allegation, Tambor issued an official statement admitting to not being the “easiest person to work with,” but standing by his belief that he is not a sexual predator. “I am deeply sorry if any action of mine was ever misinterpreted by anyone as being sexually aggressive or if I ever offended or hurt anyone,” the actor writes. For the past four years, I’ve had the huge privilege—and huge responsibility—of playing Maura Pfefferman, a transgender woman, in a show that I know has had an enormous, positive impact on a community that has been too long dismissed and misunderstood. Now I find myself accused of behavior that any civilized person would condemn unreservedly. I know I haven’t always been the easiest person to work with. I can be volatile and ill-tempered, and too often I express my opinions harshly and without tact. But I have never been a predator—ever. Moonlight have spoken to NME about their huge popularity in the US, and how they were recently invited round to have breakfast with Coldplay‘s Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson.

The Italian Eurovision winners were talking to NME for this week’s Big Read cover story, ahead of a huge homecoming gig in Verona and shortly after being one of the most talked about acts at Coachella 2022, on a line-up largely dominated by pop and solo acts including Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and Megan Thee Stallion. In our interview, they opened up about why they stand out in the States.
“Everyone who came to our gigs was saying: ‘We’ve seen no bands like this’,” bassist Victoria De Angelis told NME. “At Coachella there were like three other bands.”
Explaining their high profile in America, frontman Damiano David said: “We’re not new in that thousands of bands have played as good as us or even better, but nowadays it’s unexpected to see a band break globally. People are fascinated by that, and Americans are obsessed with Italians. That adds some spice.”
Guitarist Thomas Raggi agreed: “It’s hard for Americans to find an Italian band that makes it over there and plays a real instrument. It’s something weird.”
Asked about the most surreal moment of life among the rich and famous in America, De Angelis replied: “I would say breakfast at Chris Martin and Dakota Jones’ house. That was pretty, ‘What the fuck!?’”
David continued: “Yeah, Dakota Jones cooked eggs for us, Sean Penn was there. It was wild.”
The band were also asked for a selfie with movie star and Thirty Seconds To Mars‘ frontman Jared Leto while at Coachella. “He was there in the crowd!” said drummer Ethan Torchio. “He’s a really cool guy.”
The band’s cover of The Four Seasons’ ‘Beggin’ recently achieved one billion streams on Spotify, with their other albums and singles also clocking up millions of listeners.

Rather, it’s expected to serve as a spotlight for Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn’s characters. Although much still remains a mystery in terms of the plot for the series, Jackson recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about returning to the legendary role of Fury. “There are things that even I really didn’t know about Nick Fury that I just found out. The minds behind what happened during the Blip are fantastic. That’s part of what we’re uncovering when we do this series now,” he stated. “It’s giving me an opportunity to explore something other than the badassery of who Nick Fury is. I’ve had a good time doing that, and I’m looking forward to people sharing that aspect of who he is when this series does happen.”

Saturday marked the third day of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, but it also marked the first Celebration that Obi-Wan Kenobi star Ewan McGregor has attended. For McGregor, this first Celebration experience seems to have been a memorable one with the actor taking the stage at the end of day three to thank fans for coming out, telling them that meeting fans even briefly has been very special to him and that he’s loved every second of it.
“Thank you so much. You guys are too much. I just wanted to say … I just wanted to come out and say thank you to you, because I’ve never done convention before, I’ve never been to a Celebration before. I didn’t really know what it was like,” McGregor said. “And what’s been really amazing is to be able to, when I’m signing autographs or taking photographs, just to be able to meet you even if it’s just for a second. I just wanted you to know that it’s meant something very special to me. And I’ve loved every minute of it and so I wanted to say thank you and I’ll be back next year.”
McGregor also made a few housekeeping announcements, namely, to encourage those who had signed up for autographs with him not to miss their opportunity as he was getting ready to leave, but he also took a moment to thank fans for watching the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi with him at the event.
“It was amazing watching the first two episodes the other night,” he said. “I hope you love episode three and then four and five and six… and seven and eight and nine and ten!”
That final bit got fans very excited as Obi-Wan Kenobi is scheduled to be just a six-episode series. Disney has since confirmed to ComicBook.com that only six episodes have been filmed and McGregor’s comment was “just wishful thinking”. While that’s definitely a bit of a bummer for fans who are pumped about the show, it certainly speaks to McGregor’s excitement not just for Celebration and the fans, but for the series as well.
And McGregor didn’t just share his excitement with fans at Celebration. He also spoke with ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis at the event about what it was like to see Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader again after 17 years and McGregor gushed about the experience as well as the series.
“It was amazing to see, and you could feel it out there today, that he is so beloved, Hayden. And rightly so, he’s really a special guy, he’s a beautiful man,” McGregor shared. “He’s loved by the Star Wars fans. And our crew, for this series, there’s so many real Star Wars fans in the crew. It’s pretty cool. They totally got used to me being around then Hayden arrived for his first day and it was unbelievable. There were hundreds of people behind the cameras. I was looking around going, ‘I’ve never seen so many people on set. What’s going on?’ And then we start the rehearsal and Hayden walks out as Vader and you’re like, ‘Of course. Everyone’s here to see Vader.’ It was really nice, it’s nice, I hope, for him, that he could feel that love from everybody. And certainly today, it was unbelievable. Avengers star Mark Ruffalo is among a number of big-name Hollywood stars who have joined the cast of Bong Joon Ho’s next film, which is based on the novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. Ruffalo, Toni Collette (Hereditary), and Naomi Ackie (The End of the F–king World) will join a cast that already includes The Batman star Robert Pattinson, according to a report that dropped on Friday. The film, which is currently untitled, is set up at Warner Bros. Bong will write, direct ,and produce the film, which reteams him with Brad Pitt’s Plan B.
According to Deadline, who first reported the casting, the novel “follows Mickey7, who is an Expendable: a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim. Whenever there’s a mission that’s too dangerous—even suicidal—the crew turns to Mickey. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact. After six deaths, Mickey7 understands the terms of his deal…and why it was the only colonial position unfilled when he took it.”
The report says that Bong became “loosely attached” to the adaptation late last year, and ultimately decided over the holidays that Pattinson was perfect for the lead role. This is Bong’s first project since Parasite, which hit in 2019 and became a massive critical and commercial hit, becoming the first non-English-language film to earn the Oscars for Best Picture, Director, and Original Screenplay, along with the International Feature Film award.
Bong is hardly a one-trick pony; he previously made Snowpiercer and The Host. The Warner Bros.-owned TNT airs the Snowpiercer TV adaptation. Warner Bros. Discovery also has a Parasite miniseries set up at HBO from executive producers Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.
Ackie, who gained mainstream attention after her role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, was tapped to star as Whitney Houston in th eupcoming biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody. Collette, a critical darling since Muriel’s Wedding, recently appeared in the HBO Max limited series The Staircase and in Searchlight’s Nightmare Alley. Ruffalo, a Marvel Cinematic Universe regular, last appeared in Netflix’s The Adam Project, and is set to reprise his role as Bruce Banner in the upcoming She-Hulk: Attorney At Law series on Disney+.

Awakenings is a 1990 drama adapted from the 1973 nonfiction book by Oliver Sacks. The film stars Robin Williams and Robert De Niro, alongside Penelope Ann Miller and Julie Kavner and centres on a doctor’s work with the catatonic patients he finds languishing in a hospital in the Bronx, NY, amid a sparkling 1960s setting.
Although Robert De Niro and Robin Williams might not be the people you’d expect to work extraordinarily well together, this film puts them into a space where they clearly play off one another and fall into a great emotional rhythm artistically.
The duo’s relationship means that some of their best moments happened off-screen. It’s no secret that Robin Williams was a national treasure, and it’s a shame that he isn’t here with us today. Seeing him interact with others and having them experience the joy he brought to every room and every scene is simply unbeatable.
Although the clip is short, there’s so much you can glean from it in terms of their relationship with one another, their working style as actors, and their individual personalities on set.
The clip starts off with an interview with Robin Williams, in which he says, “I first assume that they like to see the things that I like, and they don’t,” and a playful chuckle following his words. Then, however, it cuts to Robert De Niro talking about working with Robin Williams.
De Niro says, “Robin’s very funny on the set, I mean, he likes to concentrate too. He’s very serious about what he does. But at the same time, you know, he’ll joke around between takes, you see, because in movies there’s a lot of waiting. And he’s quite something; he’s very very amazing. Really funny.”
