Y la franquicia se ha vuelto tan espectacular, desde el punto de vista de la acción, que estaría en sintonía con otras películas de acción demasiado grandes que Johnson ha protagonizado recientemente.

Sam Smith vuelve con su tercer disco
Sam Smith nos fue adelantando su tercer material discográfico con varios sencillos como “How Do You Sleep?”, “To Die For”, “My Oasis” junto a Burna Boy, “Diamonds”, “Kid’s Again”, que nos dejaban claro cuál sería el camino que tomaría el cantante en esta nueva etapa de su carrera; rolas llenas de sentimiento y melancolíamezcladas con uno que otro beat para bailar, cantar y echar la lloradita al mismo tiempo.

Después de tres años desde el lanzamiento de The Thrill of It All, el cantante británico está de vuelta con un nuevo álbum llamado Love Goes, que así como muchos otros artistas tuvo que posponer el lanzamiento por el bendito coronavirus. En realidad, este disco tendría que haber visto la luz el 1 de mayo y después pasó para el 5 de junio… pero por distintas razones llega a nosotros el 30 de octubre para cerrar el mes con todo.

Sam Smith vuelve con su tercer disco
Sam Smith nos fue adelantando su tercer material discográfico con varios sencillos como “How Do You Sleep?”, “To Die For”, “My Oasis” junto a Burna Boy, “Diamonds”, “Kid’s Again”, que nos dejaban claro cuál sería el camino que tomaría el cantante en esta nueva etapa de su carrera; rolas llenas de sentimiento y melancolíamezcladas con uno que otro beat para bailar, cantar y echar la lloradita al mismo tiempo.
Al final, esta combinación es ideal para este año tan extraño que nos ha tocado vivir, porque con todas las cosas que han pasado en los últimos meses lo que más necesitamos es sentir conectados y qué mejor que con música. Pero más allá de eso, Sam nos deja ver que con este disco quiso experimentar y se salirse de su zona de confort, intentando reinventarse como artista al explorar distintos ritmos y sonidos.

En Love Goes, Sam Smith presenta una enorme colección de canciones –17 para ser exactos– en las cuales reúne a toda clase de colaboradores. Para que se den una idea, aparecen Labrinth, Normani, Demi Lovato, Calvin Harris y hasta Guy Lawrence de Disclosure quienes aportan su propio toque a las composiciones nostálgicas del cantante británico. Por supuesto que lo nuevo de Sam Smith era esperado por todos sus fans, pues tuvieron que aguantar tres años –y un montón de meses del 2020– para que se animara a lanzar su tercer álbum de estudio. Y como era de esperarse, los seguidores de hueso colorado se desvelaron para echárselo completito y para su sorpresa se encontraron con un disco que los conmovió demasiado, a tal punto que muchos –sin pena ni temor– han dicho que los hizo llorar.

Gene Hackman and Ernest Borgnine bear the entire burden of the story as two men eternally confronted but with the same goal, to get out of there alive. Although Gene plays the role of the “hero”, the anti-hero counterpart is played by a tremendous Borgnine, playing a majestically hateful role.
Another classic adventure film directed by Richard Fleischer and featuring a stellar cast with the participation of Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis, Ernest Borgnine and Janet Leigh, we find a film that tells the adventures of a pair of Vikings who, Without knowing that they are half-siblings, they team up to save Princess Morgana (Janet Leigh) with whom they were both in love. Borgnine plays Ragnar in a curious and sophisticated interpretation of the Viking king in this adventure of high caliber and Hollywood quality, and that even marked for its time many of the statutes of today’s blockbusters. For many it is considered the best supporting performance in his career.
Film directed by Robert Aldrich with a multi-star cast (Lee Marvin, Ernest Borgnine, Charles Bronson, Donald Sutherland) with great critical and box office success. Apart from the magnificent direction, we have a script that adapts a work of that great adventurer, whose life was a novel in itself, named Jack London. A film that fans of this great actor should not miss.
Debut film by director Delbert Mann, from a screenplay by Paddy Chayefsky that became a film remake of a 1953 television play. The story is about a bachelor butcher who lives with his mother, who goes out with his friends at night trying to find the woman of his life. Modest, simple and emotional film that narrates the moving encounter of two lonely souls, in a drama with excellent work by Borgnine, showing a good and affable man, different from the rude and unpleasant characters that he used to star in. For his role Borgnine won the Oscar, the Golden Globe and the BAFTA and the film the Oscar and the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Festival (the only one to achieve it before Parasite)
